For those of y'all that are long time Yarney Boys fans, this one is a doozy! It has been reported that Yarney Yak has found Okie Fanokie the Platipus secretly stealing from his legacy mustard collection. As a result Okie Fanokie was asked to pack up his dulcimer and to leave during the middle of Yarney's 21st annual tour. Okie could not be reached for comment. In other news "The New Animal" is finally completed. We are just waiting on artwork and then will press the album for our hundreds of thousands of eagerly awaiting fans. Yeah, so we know we haven't posted to this site in forever, but now we're back online and also back with a brand new album, which we will be releasing shortly. Titled The New Animal, the 13 songs on this new joint are 4 long years in the making. While y'all count down the days to its release, you can listen to six streams from it at our MySpace page. As you all continue to patiently await the release of our 3rd album (it's coming soon, we promise!), it is my sincere pleasure to announce to all y'all RHPeople that we'll be making our national television debut (kinda sorta) next month. A while back, RHP provided some music to the New York based comedy group Rash Behaviour, for a series of short films they were producing. Well, one of these shorts, Extreme Catholicism, won a contest over at the Independent Film Channel's Media Lab, and it is scheduled to air on the network, complete with our musical contribution, on Thursday, August 3rd at 10:45 p.m. It will also air 8 other times: Monday, 8/7 @ 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, 8/8 @ 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, 8/8 @ 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, 8/16 @ 10:45 a.m. Thursday, 8/17 @ 7:30 a.m. Thursday, 8/17 @ 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, 8/22 @ 5:15 a.m. Tuesday, 8/29 @ 1 p.m. In New York City, IFC is Channel 81. So set your Tivos! We also expect to be making a very special announcement regarding a high profile guest spot on the forthcoming album. So stay tuned for that news as well. Peace!
