What have RHP been up to? They've been hard at work on a new track which was written for Blue Mic's Silly Summer Songfest. The contest requires the songwriter to use 10 out of a list of 25 "demented" words.

The words are as follows: Blue, Zoot, Masticate, Chewy, Knob, Crust, Disco, Bunk, Succulent, Dino, Blonde, Flapjack, Hurl, Beatnik, Fresno, Artichoke, Blob, Bagpipe, Pinto, Toadstool, Thong, Polyunsaturated, Wanda, Pork & Spatula.

Being the language freaks they are, RHP have used all 25 words in a new track called
She Left Me For A Yeti (Wanda's Gone). Take a listen and let us know what you think.

Oh, and for those that don't know, this explains the Legend of the Yeti.

The top 10 entries for the contest will be judged by none other than Dr. Demento with a chance to win this microphone.

This just in from the land of goulash. Hungarian rap outfit and Slamjamz labelmate Pluside has just released a new song titled A Hip-Hop Igaz Koltoi which incorporates scratches DJ Exfyl performed in his routine at our 1/17 Elbow Room Show.

I guess it's true what we said in Saloon Funk: "We be intercontinental buzzin' metropolitan vicinities at an undetected tempo!"

Click the song title to hear the mp3.

The reviews keep coming in so please don't sleep! Continue to spread the word on how ridonkulous Dogfight really is.

Cellar Noise.com have a great review of the record about mid-page down. They didn't want to like it but couldn't deny how dope it was. This is the best type of review to get.

Next up is a review from Splendid E-Zine. It's a pretty damn favorable review. But like Busta Rhymes says "I NEVER READ THE INTERVIEWS!".

In other Headpiece News, remember a few months back when we told you the Phon-X beat Dysfunctional Grammy was selected for Graffiti Verite's GV4, a documentary on graf techniques? Well that same movie has just won the 2003 Urban Independent Music Award for "Best Soundtrack". We don't like to brag, but Dysfunctional Grammy was not only used during the opening title sequence, but a second time in the middle of the flick.
