Much thanks to everybody who ventured out in near subarctic temperatures Friday night to come see us at The Elbow Room. And further thanks for being so nice to Exfyl's baby son. We are deeply saddened to report, however, that he was arrested for vandalism shortly after the show. It seems that he wandered off backstage and then proceeded to tag "Quato Lives" all over the sidewalks of lower Manhattan before being caught by local authorities. Bail has been set at $10,000, and donations of all kind are welcome. Here's the setlist from the show. We've uploaded a few of these cuts as MP3s to to the audio page for your listening pleasure: Escape From Slavecamp Elements Spectacular Vernacular Obese Writers Block Party Ciphers DJ Exfyl Scratch Solo Tired Remix Cyclops Monocle Lip Bomb Big up to Mike Foam & crew over at the new & improved GlobalHipHop.com. Happy new year to all our fans & cohorts out there. We hope 2003 brings a much needed regeneration to the world's collective headpiece. RHP have lots planned for the new year, but first up will be a two day RHP extravaganza starting with DJ Exfyl spinning out on Thursday, January 16th in NYC @ Asylum, 149 Bleeker St., NYC. Next up is our first Friday gig in a long time @ the world famous Elbow Room, NYC. Come on out next Friday night, January 17th @ 8:56 PM to hear some new joints and old favorites. The Headpiece's own DJ Exfyl banged out this flyer for the occasion: ![]() What else? Oh yeah, we'd like to let heads know that a DL Regenerated Headpiece beat titled "Dysfunctional Grammy," has been chosen for the new instructional graffiti video, GV4. A snippet of the beat can be heard on the GlobalCypher Snackbox (it's #22). We'll have more info on this project in the future. Finally, we wanna tell heads to not sleep on Jakeneck.com. This site will either school your ass or scare the shit outta you so check it out. Heads such as Shred Lexicon post links to bugged out stuff going on in the world around us. |
